ok. i'm moving to diary-x.
i, like, hate the rain.
i'm having people over for halloween. very small gathering. you can come if you're not prejudiced against awesome people like rachel and joe.
i don't know why i'm writing. it's cold as hell in my house. john's a-fucking-sleep on the couch downstairs. my neighbors aren't answering their door. i have nothing to do. i can't fix my halloween costume because i don't have a needle. or thread.
i guess i'll go play gorillas.
oh. oh-ho. yes. yesss. two months later, i've finally gotten the internet worked out in my new house. i'm sitting at my computer desk in our new house next to my window right now. i love me right now.
after buying and returning a router and considering too many options, we had just about given up and thrown our computers out of the window. because, really, what good is a computer with no internet connection? but then my neighbor (AWESOME NEIGHBOR TODD!) gave me a BRILLIANT idea. i went home and found a usb-wireless-network-adapter-thingee-extraordinaire that i bought hmm maybe two years ago and couldn't figure out. i plugged it into my computer... downloaded its drivers using my other neighbor's (AWESOME NEIGHBOR VAL!) computer... installed said drivers and... OHMYGOD! there are several wireless connections in your area. what? what what? what's that? yes. i am god.
anyway, got to go write a paper. i'm back.
(p.s. - i may still be switching over to diary-x)
i'm at my parents' house. i just noticed how ugly my journal looks in internet explorer. i apologise for visually offending any remaining IE users. (i still am steadfastly clinging to IE; there's something about firefox that i JUST DON'T LIKE, ok?)
i'm hesitant about writing because i signed up for a journal on diary-x. that's where all the cool people are going, you know that right? seriously, just kidding. most of the cool people have just stopped writing. and meghan... you are included in that group of people. so. like. start writing. like you don't have enough to write about!
anyway. this other blog. don't know what my plans are for it yet, so... yeah. maybe i'll keep writing in here. but diary-x has better stuff than diaryland. yes, stuff.
top model 4 is coming. and i don't have cable. shoot me.
no internet at the new house, yet. don't want to write in the school computer lounges. everything is fine. will write again when we get a connection at home.
i'm so tired.
